George Snyder – President
George Snyder co-founded Direct Impact in 1995 and took over full ownership of the company in 2007. He has overseen the transition of Direct Impact from a direct marketing firm engaged primarily in consumer and business-to-business direct mail to a full-service, strategic B2B marketing firm, employing a wide range of consultative services, as well as both traditional and digital tactics.
Over the years, George has also shifted his own responsibilities, from creative development in the beginning to account service, business development and general management. Today, in addition to running the day-to-day operations of the business, he spends a great deal of time working directly with clients to help them meet their marketing and sales goals, while also staying heavily involved in his first love — the creative product.
Prior to forming Direct Impact, George was Creative Director at Kupper Parker Communications, then one of the largest advertising agencies in St. Louis. At KPC he gained valuable experience in industrial marketing, leading the agency’s business-to-business creative team and working with some of the area’s largest manufacturing companies. It was here that he developed a keen interest in how industrial products are made and how they are taken to market.
George began his career in 1985, after graduating with a degree in journalism, as a copywriter at CPI Corporation, where he later became Associate Creative Director. For the next 10 years he also worked as a freelance writer for a wide range of clients.
