Doug Bevill – Chief Business Strategist
Doug Bevill joined Direct Impact in 2011 as Chief Business Strategist and a partner in the firm. In his role, Doug helps guide the strategic direction of our clients’ marketing programs, while also taking the lead on a wide range of business consulting services.
Prior to joining Direct Impact, Doug was president of Construction Economics & Strategies, a consulting firm he founded in 2009 which focused on helping construction-related companies build winning strategies tailored to the new economy. CE&S clients included building product manufacturers, service providers and industry trade associations.
From 2001 to 2008, Doug held senior positions at The Hager Companies, a global manufacturer of residential and commercial door hardware, including Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of Hager Asia. In his time at Hager, Doug oversaw the development and launch of three critical new product lines, helped introduce the company’s products into Asia and the Middle East, and also formed and managed Hager’s manufacturing joint venture in China.
From 1982 to 2000, Doug served in several positions with F.W. Dodge/McGraw-Hill, including Senior Director of Enterprise Consulting and Construction Analytics, where he worked closely with some of the world’s largest manufacturing companies.
